Senior Advisor – Research Policy at Ghent University, Department of Research Affairs, since 2006.
Her pet projects have been related to the establishment of Doctoral Schools at Ghent University, strengthening a quality culture in research and developing a HR strategy for researchers. She´s also closely involved in the ECOOM research centre (Centre for R&D Monitoring), commissioned by the Flemish Government to map Ph.D. success rates, doctoral careers and researchers’ mobility. She has taken part in a number of expert groups and stakeholders’ meetings of the European Commission, the OECD and the Flemish Government, preparing policy recommendations and developing monitoring tools related to researchers’ careers.
Graduate of Ghent University (Belgium, 1995) she obtained an MA Degree (1996) and a PhD Degree in Arts (2001) from the National University of Ireland, Galway. She taught literature and drama and carried out.
