University Ombudsman of the University of Murcia.
He has been a full professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Murcia since 1987 .
He has participated in the first Social Council and Governing Board of the UM. In 1987 he was elected president of the first Board of Teaching staff and researcher of the UM, responsibility he held until 2002. From 2003 to 2009 he has been a member of the Secretariat of the University of CC. OO, as state head of the official faculty.
He has been University Ombudsman of the University of Murcia, chosen by the Cloister, from 2009 to 2018. He was an elected member of the Executive Committee of the State Conference of University Ombudsmen of Spain (CEDU) from 2013 to 2015 and from 2015 to 2018 has been its President. He has been a member of the REDDU (Network of Ombudsman of University Rights of Mexico) and has been part of the Executive Committee of the ENOHE (European Network of Ombudsman in Higuer Education), the Coordination Commission of the Ibero-American Network of University Defenders (RIdDU) and the Executive Committee of the magazine Rued@ (University Magazine, Ethics and Rights). He is a member of the Latin American Ombudsman Institute (ILO).
Degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Murcia (UM) in 1973 and Doctor in 1985.
